This enchanting bundle of play wings, inspired by magical adventures and mystical fairy-tale worlds are soft, durable, and ready to keep up with anyone's imagination.
These soft, play-friendly wings can be sewn on your regular home sewing machine with no wires or boning required.
Not just for children - all ages from toddlers to adults can enjoy some every-day magic!

Sizing + Supplies
This bundle listing contains: Angel, Dragon, Woodland Sprite, Luna Moth, Dragonfly, Gum Emperor Moth wings.
Sizes included: Small (1 to 3-4 years) and Medium (5-10 years). Size Large will fit ages 10+ to adults.
Supplies: These patterns are designed for non-stretch woven fabrics only - we recommend using quilting cotton or fabric of a similar weight or lighter weight.
- Interfacing: Formfuse 1600f or Pellon 809 Decor Bond is recommended
- Batting: Anything from 5mm - 20mm is suitable
- Needle: A strong sewing machine needle such as a super sharp size 90 or denim (jeans) needle
- Elastic: 3/4" (2cm) wide

Challenging -but great instructions and videos made it straightforward -will definitely make another pair
I was in a rush so I admit I didn’t follow the instructions exactly but OMgoodness these turned out so well! My grandson was thrilled! The instructions I did follow were very clear and easy to understand.

Have not made this yet as the birthday is a way off, but have read through and made other patterns from this company so don’t see any problems.
So far have cut one out for my grandsons birthday the pattern is easy to follow when I read it through. Looking forward to making this up.
These are easier to make than the butterfly wings because there’s less appliqués. It still looks stunning and is a great gender neutral option. My son adores them and loves being a dragonfly. The pattern is well written and if you follow the steps it comes out amazing.
Made the Medium fairy wings for a special 7 year old’s birthday (fairy themed) and she absolutely LOVED them! She put them on before the party and still had them on 4 hours later when we were leaving. Followed recommendations for materials used in the instructions and they held up beautifully—running around, bouncing in a bouncy house and all the other birthday fun you can imagine. Great and thorough pattern instructions and darn cute final product too! Thanks Twig and Tale!
I made both my children a pair of dragon wings for the Samhain festival. They loved them and still really enjoy wearing them for imaginative play all the time
