Great patterns for my granddaughter’s birthday party

I just finished the crowns that the girls will decorate and the wands. I still plan to make the gift bags and some wings too.

Celebrations just got better!

Beware these patterns are addictive! I started off just thinking I would make a string of bunting and a couple of gift bags but found myself wanting to make just another each time I completed a make
Love that these are perfect scrap makes and some are easy enough for children to sew.
Such a useful set of celebration items that will be lovingly used time and time again.

A gift to any maker

The projects in this book truly feel like self-care sewing – like a gift to myself that celebrates my hobby and helps make it a little more functional. The patterns are simple but so well drafted and explained. Lots of fun to put together and a great way to use up scraps!

Perfect stash busters

I love these pattern! I’ve made the project bag and the tool roll so far. Usable, small projects that don’t take a lot of time to make.

I have so enjoyed making this pattern!

I used the pattern for the drawstring project bag to make reusable Christmas wrapping for gifts this year. Everyone loved them. I plan to make non-Christmas themed ones for birthdays. I have always disliked traditional wrapping paper because it creates so much waste. This bag in multiple sizes was perfect.

This was the only picture I got, but I have more detailed versions planned.

As a beginner I feel the instructions are a little too cursory and simple. I would have liked more detail for each pattern and step. I’m not loving how to put together the pattern pieces either for many small things it seems like a lot of pages to stick together! Newbie growing pains with this one. I’m hoping I’ll be able to tackle it with enthusiasm and aplomb in future.

Last Homemade Present!

I have made 3 of these. A sweet pattern for my sewing friends. I had so much fun putting it together and giving them away. I so much prefer homemade gifts!
Thank you.
