So simple!

I am not completely new to sewing but am definitely still a rookie and this was truly very easy to understand and pretty basic to sew! I am so happy with how my daughters coat turned out! Looking forward to finding more thrifted quilts to make more! Also, the FB group is awesome and SO helpful!

Warm and cozy, great design

I recently made my twin niece and nephew the pixie pea coat for their upcoming birthday and I loved them so much I also made one for myself. I took them for a fitting over Easter and I have now got two orders for their mum (my sis-in-law) and one of my aunties. Such a fast and easy make. I love them!

Blue pixie pea coat

This coat was so easy and lots of fun to make. I uses an old wool jacket I found thrift store and used the lining from the original coat also. I also made a matching pair of boots to go with it. I hope it fits her next winter. This is a size 2 jacket with fox ears and size 8 baby tie back boots.

Fabulous coat!

I made this for my daughter and it's the first 'big' sewing project I've ever done and the pattern made me feel like a pro! I added wool batting, quilting it to the liner for added warmth. I can't wait for my daughter to try it on and to make my next one!

It really is that easy!

Seriously easy. The step by step instructions are so clear and the possibilities of this coat are endless! I bought the kids pattern and now I’m 100% sure I’ll be making one for myself as well. Comes together so fast!
