The perfect costume!

I purchased this at the last minute as my son wanted to dress as our (very fluffy) cat for his school disco. The vest with the animal add on worked a treat - easy to put together and highly effective for both costuming and dancing. I'll be making more.

Great Pattern

What a great pattern! I was a bit daunted by the number of steps, but the instructions are incredibly clear. I used the dragon add on and have two happy boys now.

Long weekend activity :)

The pathfinder baby and children's vest patterns were so simple to follow. I learnt a lot as I moved through using these patterns and I felt clever and proud at the end of the process. I made three vests in one long weekend - was the most therapeutic weekend I'd had in a long time. The mother of the children who I made these vests for received these vests in the mail today (photo attached) - she can't wait to see her children wearing their vests and I can't wait to see these vests being worn in the wild :)

This was fun and straightforward to make. I love that there are so many options to customise the vest and extra info on the blog. Thank you :)

Childs vest

Made Pathfinder vest with crossover front, curved drop back, and bear ears on the hood for a bit of fun for 1 year old boy. The faux leather was 'wool'padded so did not need lining.
Thanks its awesome.

Great directions. Fun Vest!

I wanted to make a vest to go with some pants I wanted to make. I ended up making this vest out of a Ponte with a jersey lining. It is surprisingly warm. I know it is written for wovens, but it worked just fine with some moderate stretch fabric. The directions were easy to understand and I didn’t have to make any adjustments.

Really enjoy creating garments from repurposed fabrics. I love the style of these patterns. Fantastic resources are provided eg. Videos and instructions to create them. This wee cutie is for our first grandchild.
