Dress it up/Dress it down - Cottage and Cafe Chic!

Another banger for the T+T collection! The pattern was easy to follow, even with the many options of length, waistband height, and pockets. I love the finished skirt - it's flowy and effortlessly cottage chic. You could pair it with plaid flannel for a truly delightful cool-weather skirt, or linen or cotton for a warm-weather treasure.

        The Perfect Skirt

Hands-down my favorite thing I've ever sewn. The adjustable waist is intermediate, but invaluable; and the wonderful tutorial, as with all T+T patterns, held my hand every step of the way. The Lorien is truly magical and a joy to wear!

        It's all in the details

        LOVE this skirt.

The simple but effective details of this skirt not only make this a great skirt to wear but also one that stands out from the pack. It's my new favourite skirt and one that I look forward to making over and over again.

        Perfect pattern!

Its a great pattern with lots of beautiful details! The waistband is adjustable. So it fits perfectly. My favorit are the pockets. They are sew in the waistband. So your skirt looks perfect also with something in the pockets.
The tutorial is easy to understand. Even if english is not your native language.
I'm in love with this pattern. I allready bought fabric for a secoond one!

        A beautiful skirt

The Lorien is simply gorgeous. There are so many lovely features in this pattern that you only really appreciate when you've made it. The waistband takes a bit of time to sew, but the instructions are really clear and it comes together beautifully. The hints and tips throughout the instructions are useful and the pattern is well-drafted.

It is a fabric hungry pattern, but it's worth it for the swishiness of the finished skirt. It's a style that can be dressed up, but I've also already enjoyed wearing mine casually with a t-shirt and trainers - it is definitely versatile and very comfortable to wear!

        Details that shine

There’s so much to love in this pattern- the lacing and ties; the pockets (I sewed the teardrop but there’s other delightful options); the option for centre or side lacing; length options. The waistband took me a little while to sew, but it is absolutely worth the effort for all of those little details. I learnt how to use a loop turner and construct pockets with French seams.
Great tutorial, great projector file and great detail. This is a truly unique and well written pattern.

        A dreamy and versatile skirt!

This was such a fun skirt to sew, but it also taught me a lot! That's the kind of project that is perfect for a (very) enthusiastic beginner or an intermediate sewist, as it requires precision and some smart techniques (the way to french seam the pocket is so brilliant). I've been wearing mine a lot since it's been finished and I get a ton of compliment. I already made a second one and I just love how it looks very different by changing the type or the colour of the fabric. Bonus point: this is one of my most swishy skirts and I love it! It moves beautifully around the legs and it makes me want to dance and twirl and have fun and be happy!

A full and swishy skirt for any occasion

The Lorien Skirt is such a wonderful swishy skirt that elevates any outfit. I love the big pockets, faux shirring and ties to give it an extra bit of drama. The instructions are excellent, as expected from T+T patterns and the resulting skirt is so gorgeous.
