The Grove features a unique darted saddle sleeve, and a beautifully-faced pleated lining. A generous hood to keep raindrops and wind off, deep pockets for stashing treasures, and a relaxed comfortable fit that is ready for adventure.

This coat was a breeze to make and I get so many compliments on it! I'd highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to try and make their first coat or looking to add another to their wardrobe.
Twig + Tale patterns never fail me! I love the construction of this pattern and all the little finishes from the sleeves to the cuffs and the back to the hem. And who can’t resist a pixie hood!
I made my grove coat in brocade . The pattern fit is amazing . Instructions are easy to follow it includes a video tutorial too . It actually is a quick sew . I also added piping to the edges .

I made 2 Grove coats in 2 weeks. Pattern video and PDF tutorial are comprehensive and easy to follow. I don’t encounter trouble sewing mine. Grove coat has amazing fit. It size guide is accurate on me base on my upper bust measurement. Love the saddle sleeve design with darts at the shoulder. It has a professional clean finishing at the hem which is designed carefully to ensure the lining sits inside the jacket and not sag. Love Twig + Tale community the best. Help and answer are quick when someone asks for one! Highly recommended!
This is a wonderful sewing project, I was a bit nervous if I could pull it off, but my Grove coat is the most well fitting and unique coat I have ever owned, and I love it.
The instructions are easy to follow, and the videos helps a lot too.
I really enjoyed making this coat. The instructions are very thorough and easy to follow. The coat came together so quickly, and I had it finished in a couple of days. I’m so pleased with the results
I was worried to try the Grove as I so adore the Pixie and how easily/quickly it comes together, but wanted something a little more ‘professional’ for myself. The Grove instructions hold your hand throughout the whole process(as do all TT patterns) so every sewist can turn out a beautifully finished coat and say ‘I made it!’. Its definitely a whole notch up from the Pixie in terms of fit, style and finish and really makes a truly gorgeous coat.
