Gorgeous vest which made up really well. I haven’t sewed children’s clothes for many years and the instructions were so helpful. I was a bit to eager and made the vest with the hood and the collar haha but still looks cute 😊

I made this pattern almost the same as the cute little girl in your photos. It was easy to use and the pieces all fit together well. The good is a really nice fit and stays in without falling over the face

Co więcej, mam zwykłą domową maszynę (choć marzę o overlocku ;P ) Gdy otworzyłam plik jak szyć wszystko stało się jasne, a sam proces szycia przebiegł tak przyjemnie, że zabieram się za szycie płaszczyka dla synka, a następnie kamizelki i płaszcza dla siebie! This was such a fun pattern and my grandaughter loves wearing it! I enjoyed all the options to customize. I used a courdoroy lined with sherpa on the main vest and a liberty of london cotton for the pockets, angel sleeves and lining of hood.

I made the Pathfinder Straight fit vest with a pixie hood and kangaroo pockets, out of a length of vintage, wool twill coating and lined it with a cotton flannel. I appreciate the tip on how much to lengthen the garment based on 1/2" for every inch of height over 5'10". I used another tip to put in concealed interior pockets. I installed a zipper on one of the interior pockets, it took some fiddling around to figure out how. I opted to put in a zipper instead of a button closure. I am happy with the way it came out, well maybe not that interior pocket zipper, and look forward to seeing my tall, lanky son wearing a pixie hood vest out in the wilds.

I am super pear shaped and have gotten pretty good at grading up several sizes between my upper bust and hips. But I haven't quite been able to tackle the multiple adjustments needed for princess seaming--until now! I went from a size I in the upper bust, to a size M in the hips. I followed the directions in the pattern and love how it turned out. I'm also tall (5'9") so I successfully lengthened the vest too by 2 inches! I love, love, love the pixie hood and the ability to offset the button front. I also added piping to the princess seams and used my new sewing machine to do some decorative stitching on the kangaroo pockets. It will be a wonderful canvas to try out some machine embroidery in the near future. I bought the animal add-on and look forward to making me a hooded vest with either cat ears or Dino spikes (and yes...I'm a 60 year old lady, no grandkids in sight, and I will totally rock this when I make it!).

Used some vintage corduroy and polyester for lining. Very detailed and easy to understand instructions. It was very loose fitting so I did end up taking it in quite a bit.. overall A+

I made this vest for my son's baby dedication using remnant fabric - you don't need much at all to whip up this beauty! I kept it very simple and didn't use any extra variations as I was under a time limit and life with a newborn was pretty hectic! Managed to get it done and was so happy with it! Excited about the huge range in sizing and hope to make a few more for my son in the months to come!

Love the pattern. So quick and easy with so many options. Made a last minute lion vest for my granddaughter from leftover fleece and flannel. She insisted on the bow as she is a “girl” lion.
