Great pattern

The pattern was really clear with easy-to-follow instructions. It was my first time making clothes for a boy, and this pattern made it a breeze (pun intended)!

I thought the collar would be very difficult to do, but it turned out to be doable with the step-by-step instructions. The French seams also turned out beautifully.

The only problem I had was with installing Adobe on my computer, so I couldn’t access the layers. I ended up printing the entire pdf and tracing the size I wanted. It works out as I’m sure I’ll be making more of these shirts!

Breeze Shirt

Love this pattern. I made the shirt version with pockets. I used French seams except for the arms eye.

Perfect breezy summer top

Great options and instructions to help you create a shirt and test new techniques. This first one was made for a book week costume (pictured) with the collar omitted, but this pattern will be well used, as it’s perfect for sun protection, but still cool and breezy - a good choice for the Aussie outback. I am excited to make many more.

Breezy is appropriate

The pattern was easy to follow and truly creates a breezy shirt. My daughter loves her handmade shirts and wears it as often as it is available!

Personally I struggled upcycling the baby muslim blanket into it, but I am a novice in clothes making and found the edges were not adequately trapped in the stitches. I used the reverse facing and felt it can be a little difficult to track going back and forth between the digital instructions and the blog.

Breeze for two

I made two versions of this pattern, one for me, one for my husband. The explanations are clear, straightforward and easy to follow. The French seams give a lovely finish to this blouse/shirt and it’s comfortable to wear. I am quite sure I’ll make others!

Lovely shirts for the whole family

I started with a child's shirt for my toddler nephew but have plans to make one for my grown-up son and one for me in the near future. As ever T&T instructions are so clear - it makes sewing this shirt so easy (even a tiny one!) Now I'm just waiting for my son to come home from uni to measure him up for his. Looking forward to it!

Cosy flannel shirt

Definitely a stretch for my sewing skills (I’m definitely an adventurous beginner who needed to unpick a few seams along the way). Used lightweight flannel and no interfacing with excellent results.

Great pattern

This is a beautiful pattern and gives the opportunity to learn how to sew with French seams. I really enjoyed making this shirt and I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. As a Twig and Tale Storyteller I received the pattern for free to make and share my experience. All opinions are my own.

Great pattern for learning

I attempted this Breeze Top after making a Scenic Top. I made a toile from a thrifted cotton blanket. I love the way the collar turned out. This is a great pattern for learning how to do an interfaced collar, a facing, and French seams. Can't wait to make adult version.
